FEU student ‘nahulog’ sa footbridge

NASAWI ang isang estudyante ng kilalang unibersidad nang mahulog sa footbridge sa kanto ng Padre Campa Street at España Boulevard, Sampaloc, Maynila.

Namatay noon din ang estudyanteng tubong Calbayog City, Samar at nanunuluyan sa Ventura Residences, Delos Santos Street, Sampaloc.

Ayon sa imbestigasyon ng Manila Police District (MPD), third-year Medical Technology student sa Far Eastern University (FEU) ang biktima.

Sa report, nakita ang biktima na umakyat sa footbridge 3:15 ng madaling araw base sa kuha ng closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage. Nang makarating sa itaas, tumayo ito sa gilid ng tulay at bumagsak.

Nagpahayag ng kalungkutan ang administrasyon ng FEU sa pagkamatay ng kanilang estudyante.

“Our deepest sympathies go out to Keilo’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. We ask everyone to kindly respect their privacy and join us in offering prayers and heartfelt condolences. May their hearts find solace and healing, as we stand in solidarity with them,” ayon sa pahayag ng unibersidad.

“We acknowledge that our students, faculty, and staff have all been affected by this tragic event. The FEU Guidance and Counseling office and the Healing Spaces Psychology Center are open and available to everyone seeking succor and solace,” dagdag pa.(Jocelyn Domenden)
