How To Get Away From My Toxic Family”.

“Parehas kami pangatlo. Parehas kaming middle child.

FROM.Garage to Global Stage: First Filipino-Owned Dance Studio in NZ to Represent Aotearoa in Europe.

What started in a humble garage in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2021 is now making history. Euphoria Dance Studio, the first Filipino-owned and community-led dance studio in New Zealand, has officially qualified to represent New Zealand at the Hip Hop Unite World Championships in Prague, Czech Republic this October.

With most of their students having no prior dance background, this passionate group of young dancers—90% of whom are Filipino—have worked tirelessly for years, training after school and on weekends to pursue their shared dream.

Their dedication paid off as they recently clinched 1st place at Hip Hop Unite New Zealand, earning them a spot on the world stage. Just last weekend, they also dominated at the Australian Dance Crew Championships (ADCC) in Christchurch winning 1st place in the Open Division and 1st place in the Monster Crew Division, securing another opportunity to represent New Zealand—this time in Australia. Now, they’re raising funds to make these once-in-a-lifetime journeys possible. If you’d like to support or sponsor this inspiring team of dancers, please reach out through: edstudio2021@gmail.com Instagram: @euphoria.dance.studio.

Let’s help them bring Filipino pride to the world stage—and prove that with heart, hard work, and community, anything is possible.
