UP wagi vs Davao Selection sa Shakey’s invitational volleyball

INUKIT ng University of the Philippines ang 25-11, 25-13, 25-15 wagi laban sa Davao Selection sa Shakey’s Super League (SSL) National Invitationals at the University of Southeastern Philippines Gym sa Davao City Biyernes ng gabi.

Casiey Dongallo nagrehistro ng game-high 15 points,kabilang ang seven sa third set, kung saan ang Fighting Maroons ay hawak ang 8-0 run para malagpasan ang 9-0 deficit.

Kiane Olango at Nina Ytang nagdgdag ng 12 at 11 points, ayon sa pagkakasunod.

“When we start changing players, of course, it’s not the same type of (chemistry) inside. We’ve only done ball only for one month, so not all 14 players are the same level right now. It changes the tempo. Changing the setter started forcing too many (errors) and gave courage to the other team,” Wika ng Italian coach Fabio Menta tungkol sa UP’s 25 errors.

Elysha Cabingatan nagtala ng four points para sa Davao Selection, na binubuo ng standouts mula sa Ateneo de Davao University, Holy Cross of Davao College, at University of Mindanao.

Isabelle Andal, Rika Sasaki, Rizza Salvanera, Angelica Ordinaria, at Kyle Esteves may pinagsamang 10 points.
