NU winalis ang 1st round ng UAAP juniors basketball

DENIMOLIS ng National University Nazareth School School ang Ateneo de Manila University,99-74, upang walisin ang first round ng UAAP Season 88 juniors basketball tournament sa SMART Araneta Coliseum sa Quezon City Sabado.

Pinamunuan ni Malian center Moussa Diakite ang opensiba ng Bullpups sa iniskor na 28 points,19 rebounds, at three blocks,para akayin ang team sa commanding 76-48 advantage sa pagtapos ng third quarter.

Nick Peña nagdagdag ng 14 points, sinundan ni Clark Khobuntin ng 13 points at 12 rebounds at Mark Arzola may 12 points, 11 assists, at three steals.

Sky Jazul umiskor ng 25 points, habang si Domeng Ngo at Jude Ylen bumakas ng 14 at 12, ayon sa pagkakasunod,para sa Ateneo.

“We still have to be competitive in practice. We cannot relax. We need to continue working hard. You have to respect your opponent every game, regardless of whether they’re strong or weak,” Wika ni NU head coach Leo Pujante.
