Nickelodeon Star Eduard Banez Conquers Hollywood

Filipino singer Eduard Banez, Nickelodeon star and host, started singing at five years old. He entered showbizness when he was 15. At 17, he was famous in dating blogs as “Lilsaint”.

“I started attending Star Magic workshops and was part of Star Magic Batch 15 of ABS-CBN. I had been hosting MTV-Asia in Singapore and Hong Kong and became a Nickelodeon star for Nick Jr. series,” reminisced Eduard with a glint in his eyes. He was also a host of morning show of NET25 and was TV 5 tele-radio show host.

Moreover, he became a commercial model of Goldilocks and Globe Telecom and he appeared in a teen magazine in the Philippines.

He decided to pursue a musical career after his rendition of Sharon Cuneta’s Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko, composed by Rey Valera, got over 120,000 views on YouTube.

He migrated in 2015 in North America “since my family moved and settled down to the United States. I prefer to be in a land of more opportunities than in a corrupt land.”

Interestingly, he still appears in Nick Jr . updates for news and public affairs. He also had the chance to work with artists Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran and Sia.

“I will just be focusing with my work as administrative coordinator and as a health and physical education teacher at Ralph Waldo Beverly Hills,” said Eduard who is busy with the website spluk.ph to give a good news about the world news.
