Kinabog ng baguhang aktres na si Krystel Go (I’mPerfect) ang mga de kalibreng aktres na sina Angelica Panganiban (Unmarry),Nadine Lustre (Call Me Mother) at Bianca de Vera (Love You So Bad) sa best actress race sa
nakaraang Gabi ng Parangal sa 51st edisyon ng MMFF.
Historic ang pagkapanalo ni Krystel dahil siya ang kauna-unahang aktres na may Down Syndrome na nanalo ng acting award.

Wagi ring best picture ang nasabing obra ni Sigrid Andrea Bernardo na iprinudyus ng Nathan Studios.

Gumawa rin ng kasaysayan ang pelikula dahil nanalo ang MMFF entry ng best ensemble acting.

Tinanghal namang best actor si Vice Ganda para sa kanyang pagganap sa “Call Me Mother” kung saan nakatunggali niya sina Zanjoe Marudo (Unmarry), Piolo Pascual (Manila’s Finest),Carlo Aquino (Bar Boys: After School), Will Ashley (Love You So Bad) at Earl Amaba (I’mPerfect).

Nanalo naman bilang second best picture ang “Unmarry” samantalang nag-tie sa third place ang “Manila’s Finest” at “Call Me Mother.”
