CIDG tinukoy posibleng mga sangkot sa pagtakas ni Bato

TINUKOY ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) nitong Huwebes ang ilang indibidwal na posibleng sangkot sa pagtakas ni Senador Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa sa Senado.
Ayon kay CIDG Director, Major General Robert Morico II, anim katao ang maaa-ring maharap sa kasong ‘obstruction of justice’ kabilang sina Senador Robin Padilla at kanyang babaeng security officer.
“You can see her doon sa CCTV footage. I think even the press that are assigned in the Senate, usually she’s kasama. She’s the one na may nakasuot ng bullet proof vest,” ani Morico.
“She was a former AFP personnel… from the AFP, ang employment niya pumunta po sa Department of Foreign Affairs as a foreign service officer. Later on naging security officer and staff ni Senator Robin Padilla,” dagdag pa niya.
Natukoy narin ng CIDG ang driver at may-ari ng isang pickup truck na ginamit bilang backup vehicle para kay Dela Rosa. Pagmamay-ari ito ng pinsan ni Padilla.
Si Dela Rosa ay nahaharap sa warrant of arrest mula sa International Criminal Court (ICC). Pumasok siya sa Senado Mayo 11 matapos ang anim na buwang hindi pagdalo, at palihim na umalis umalis madalong-araw ng Mayo 14 kasunod ng insidente ng putukan sa gusali Mayo 13 ng gabi.
