DALAWANG ‘OVERSTAYING’ NA BANYAGA, INARESTO NG BI SA BOHOL

Inaresto ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang dalawang ‘overstaying’ na banyaga sa magkahiwalay na intelligence-driven operations sa Bohol.

Ang nasabing operasyon ay isinagawa noong Hulyo ng mga operatiba mula sa BI’s Regional Intelligence Operations Unit 7 (RIOU-7), sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa sa Panglao Municipal Police Station at Inabanga Municipal Police Station.

Ang mga dinakip, ayon kay BI-Intelligence Division chief Fortunato ‘Jun’ Manahan, Jr. ay kinilalang sina Florian Clemens Alexander Klingler, 35, German national, na inaresto sa Das-ag, Poblacion, Panglao at si Dimitar Tsakov Maknev, 43, Bulgarian, na dinakip sa Poblacion, Inabanga.

“Both foreigners were found to have violated the conditions of their stay after failing to maintain valid immigration status in the country. Klingler was able to present only visa extension receipts showing his last valid stay expired in October 2025, while Maknev failed to present any immigration documents during the operation,” saad ni Manahan.

Aniya, ang dalawang operasyon ay isinagawa ng BI intelligence operatives kasunod ang surveillance at verification efforts sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa local police authorities. (JERRY S. TAN)
