LEVISTE NAGPIYANSA NG P72K – NBI

NAGLAGAK na ng P72,000 piyansa si Batangas Representative Leandro Leviste kaugnay ng umano’y paglabag sa Public Service Act, ayon kay National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag.
Ayon kay Matibag, natanggap ng korte ang piyansa sa pamamagitan ng kinatawan ni Leviste.
“Nag-bail siya. I received an order from the court that nag-cash bail siya. May pinadalang representative, including ’yung mga co-accused niya,” ani Matibag.
“Technically, he’s now under the jurisdiction of the court, the RTC Court of Makati, and I understand that he is booked for arraignment on October 26,” dagdag niya.
Nauna nang naglabas ng warrant of arrest ang Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 235 laban kay Leviste kaugnay ng paglabag sa Section 25 ng Commonwealth Act No. 146, na inamyendahan sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 11659 o Public Service Act.
