“According to the victim, between March and April 2025, the suspect allegedly solicited and received a total of P90,000 from her, promising a guaranteed slot in the BFP Region 1 recruitment process,” saad sa pahayag ng BFP.
“Despite fulfilling all requirements, the victim was never enlisted. The suspect recently agreed to return a portion of the money amounting to P30,000, which led to the coordinated intervention by police and BFP intelligence units,” sinabi pa ng BFP.
“In light of this incident, the BFP encourages other individuals who may have been victims of similar recruitment schemes to come forward and cooperate with the PNP San Carlos City to file the necessary legal charges. Your cooperation is vital in our continued effort to ensure a clean and honest Bureau,” ayon sa BFP.
