It also deals with mental health.

“Tulad ng una naming film, Sugat sa Dugo, which was about AIDS awareness, Mantsa deals with mental health.

“I read the whole story, and it’s a good story. And it’s not a very simple treatment. It’s not gonna be a simple treatment. It’s gonna be a bit complicated. And I like complications to the story.

“And with regards to my role, it’s kinda… I like it because I don’t talk much. There’s not much dialogue. Very limited ang dialogue and brief, but there’s a lot of nuances in the role, which I like,”.

“Lola Pacita lives in an island all by herself together with her daughter and she deals with her grandchildren and all things that happened in the past in that house. So she is probably a simple, old woman with a lot of complexities in the situations in the family,” pagkukuwento niya sa karakter niya sa Mantsa sa direksyon ni Louie Ignacio.
Bukod kay Pilar, kasama rin sa pelikula sina Gelli de Belen, Khai Flores, Shira Tweg,Miles Poblete at marami pang iba.
