51 out of 81… SUPORTA NG GOVERNORS BUMUHOS KAY BONG GO

MATAPOS ang unang 41 provincial governors na nagpahayag ng suporta kay PDP-Laban Vice Presidential aspirant Senator Bong Go, sampu pang gobernador ang nagsabing ibubuhos nila ang kanilang suporta sa kandidatura ng mambabatas.

Dahil dito, nasa 51 na ng 81 provincial governors sa buong bansa ang suportado sa pagka-bise presidente si Senator Go.

Sa isang pagpapakita ng suporta, sinabi ng mga gobernador na nakakuha si Go ng malawak at mahalagang pananaw mula sa pagiging isang matagal na malapit na aide ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte tungkol sa lokal at pambansang pamamahala.

Idinagdag nila na dahil sa karanasang ito, naihanda ng senador ang sarili para sa mas mataas pang pampublikong posisyon.

“Having come from the ranks of local public servants, we have no doubt that Bong Go understands the issues we face 24/7 in our respective provinces,” ayon sa manifesto.

Binanggit ng provincial executives na wala pang dalawang taon sa pagiging senador ay nagawang ma-institutionalized ni Go ang Malasakit Center, ang programang sinimulan nila ni Pangulong Duterte bago pa siya naging mambabatas.

Si Go ang pangunahing may akda ng Republic Act (RA) 11463 o ng “Malasakit Centers Act of 2019.”

“The senator from Mindanao has made affordable health care accessible to Filipinos through the Malasakit Center, which is a one-stop shop for medical and financial assistance several government agencies allocate for the sick, who now have to go to just one office instead of laboriously seeking help from one agency to another,” saad ng governors.

Sa kasalukuyan ay mayroon nang 141 Malasakit Centers sa mga ospital sa buong bansa.

Milyon-milyon nang nagkakasakit na mahihirap na Filipinos ang natulungan na ng Malasakit Centers.

“With our support, if he is elected vice president, Bong Go promises to continue President Duterte’s programs, particularly his campaign against illegal drugs, criminality and corruption. These are some of the problems we continue to face as local officials, despite the administration’s gains in stamping out such nefarious activities,” sabi pa ng mga gobernador.

“We, provincial governors, crossing party lines, support the candidacy for vice president of Sen. Bong Go and vow to campaign tirelessly for his election to the country’s second highest elective position,” sinabi naman ni Eastern Samar Gov. Ben Evardone sa isang kalatas.

Palaging sinasabi ni Senator Go na bakit pa pahihirapan ang mga Filipino gayong may pera naman ang gobyerno na dapat maibalik sa kanila sa pamamagitan ng mabilis, maayos at may malasakit na serbisyo.
