Dr. Damuel Zacate itinalaga ni PBBM na FDA chief

ITINALAGA ni Pangulong Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. ang kaniyang lead physician na si Dr. Samuel Zacate bilang FDA chief.

Ito ang inihayag ni Press Secretary Atty. Trixie Angeles.

“He is qualified plus he has several distinctions so we are not sure if his being a personal physician factored into this considering he ticks all the boxes, meaning lahat ng requirements bilang FDA [chief] he fulfilled,” sinabi ni Cruz-Angeles.

Ayon kay Cruz-Angeles, kilala si Zacate na isang public health advocate na may expertise sa medisina at medical consultancy sa iba’t ibang tanggapan ng pamahalaan.

Aniya, naging diplomat ng Philippine Society for Venereology at fellow ng International College of Surgeons si Zacate.

Samantala kabilang sa iba pang itinalaga ay ang mga sumusunod: sina retired Brigadier General Roman “Popong” Felix – Secretary, Office of the Presidential Adviser on Military Affairs; retired Major General Ariel Caculitan – OPAMA Undersecretary for Military Affairs; retired general General Isagani Nerez – Undersecretary for Police Affairs; at Attorney Nesauro Firme – Judicial and Bar Council at MMDA chairman Carlo Dimayuga.
