A highly acclaimed Filipino singer, Imelda Papin is an actress, and public servant par excellence widely known as the “Jukebox Queen of the Philippines.” Rising to prominence in the late 70s, she became one of the most influential icons of Original Pilipino Music (OPM), celebrated for emotional ballads such as “Bakit (Kung Liligaya Ka sa Piling ng Iba)” and “Isang Linggong Pag-ibig.”

Her powerful vocals and heartfelt performances made her one of the most beloved music artist of her era.

Beyond entertainment, Queen Imelda Papin expanded her service to the Filipino people through public leadership, serving as Vice Governor of Camarines Sur (1998–2004) and continuing to engage in governance and humanitarian initiatives. She also represented Filipino culture internationally, performing abroad and hosting television and radio programs for the Filipino community.

Today, she remains recognized as a cultural icon whose contributions to music, public service, and community leadership have left a lasting legacy in Philippine society.

BASEBALL CLINIC FOR BICOLANO KIDS HATAW NGAYONG TAG-ARAW!

Excited na ang mga kabataang Bicolano sa Dapdap, Pilar, Sorsogon na matuto ng basic na aspeto ng larong baseball- sikat nang laro sa Kabikulan noon pa man.

Nang mabalitaan ng mga bata na magkakaroon ng libreng pagtuturo o baseball clinic sa kanilang lugar sa Marso 26 ay pinaghandaan na nila ang kapakipakinabang na kaganapang inorganisa ng inyong kahatawan at ka- bats para sa kabataan ng Dapdap.

Of course, ang naturang baseball project for a cause ay suportado ng NSA sa sport na PABA basta sa ikasusulong ng larong baseball sa bansa .Hats off and lets play ball!

Lowcut: Maraming lugar sa Dapdap ang potensyal na i- convert sa baseball diamond.Sana’y magtayo ag LGU ng ganitong venue sa kanayunan. Di lang puro basketball at volleyball ang pinagkakaabalahan.Sen. Chiz.. BEKENEMEN!
