At the heart of this mission is our flagship philanthropic program, Operation: Barrio Schools, established in 1961. For 65 years, this enduring initiative has reflected our Federation’s commitment to complementing the govemment’s efforts to strengthen the country’s educational infrastructure, particularly in underserved rural communities.
