Rep. Benitez suportado ang PVL On Tour finale sa Victorias City

SINABI ni Negros Occidental Third District Rep. Javier Miguel L. Benitez na suportado nito ang 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) On Tour finale na ginawa sa Victorias City Coliseum nitong August 22, 2026.

Nabatid na ito ang kauna-unahang major professional sporting event na idinaos sa lungsod sa nakalipas na 15 taon.

Kasama sa mga nanood si Senador JV Ejercito at ilang lokal na opisyal mula sa Victorias City at Province of Negros Occidental.

Sa pag-uumpisa ng laro, nakabangon ang Farm Fresh Foxies para talunin ang Capitall Solar Spikes sa iskor na  20-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-12, 15-10.

Sa main game naman, inilampaso ng Creamline Cool Smashers ang Galeries Tower Highrisers sa iskor na 25-21, 25-16, 25-21.

Nagpakitang gilas si Jaja Santiago-Minowa sa full-packed na Victoriaas City Coliseum para sa Creamline.

“We hope that the next time an event like this comes to Victorias, a Victoriasanon player will be part of it,” pahayag ni Benitez.

Kaugnay nito pinasalamatan ni Benitez ang PVL, Sports Vision, City Government of Victorias sa pamumuno ni Mayor JunB Bantug, Grid Sports Athletic led sa pamumuno ni President Bea Tan, participating teams, at mga fans na nanood sa laban.

Pormal na isinagawa ang pagho-host ng lungsod sa pamamagitan ng memorandum of agreement sa pagitan ng Victorias City LGU at GRID Sports Athletic.

Huling nag-host ang lungsod ng major professional league event noong Oktubre 2011 para sa Philippine Basketball Association games.

Nagtapos sa Victorias City ang 2026 PVL On Tour, na nagsimula noong Hulyo 8 at idinaos nang buo sa labas ng Metro Manila.
