When my cousin Filipino glass sculptor Ramon Orlina decided to go home after attending the Malaysian national day celebration at Makati Shangri-La, I accompanied him back to the lobby of the hotel.
While waiting for his driver, we happened to see Annette Gozon-Valdes of GMA Network and Cory Vidanes of ABS-CBN.
It was nice to see the two networks’ lady bosses were collaborating. I guess they also attended the Malaysian event.
Anna Teresa “Annette” M. Gozon-Valdes (advance birthday greeting on November 3) is a prominent Filipino lawyer, business executive, film producer, and media leader who serves as the senior vice president of GMA Network, president of GMA Pictures, and head of Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
While Cory Vidanes (born María Socorro Valenzuela) is a prominent Filipino media executive who serves as the chief operating officer for broadcast and executive producer of ABS-CBN Studios.
I hope to see them again in the near future.
