Ikonsidera sa 2022 elections… ITULOY ANG LEGASIYA NI PDU30 — BONG GO

HABANG papalapit na ang halalan, hinikayat ni Senator Christopher “Bong” Go ang sambayanang Filipino na ikonsidera at iprayoriad sa pagpili ng ihahalal ay ‘yung lider na ipagpapatuloy ang legasiya ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

“It has never been more crucial for every Filipino to participate in our democratic process as we prepare for our next elections. The good news is that we have time to evaluate and consider who will lead our country for the next six years,” ayon kay Go.

“If you ask me, when it comes to selecting our next leaders, I prioritize continuity. The Duterte administration has raised the standard in terms of responsiveness to the needs of the Filipino people,” idinagdag ni Go.

Ayon kay Go, ang susunod na lider ay may dapat na katangian o katimbang ng political will ni Pangulong Duterte o makapagpapatuloy ng momentum, lalo sa usapin ng pagtugon ng pamahalaan sa kasalukuyang pandemya.

Mahigit dalawang dekada na nakatrabaho ang Pangulo, sinabi ni Go na nasaksihan niya ang labis na pagmamahal at pagmamalasakit ni Duterte sa Filipino at nakatulong ito sa paggawa niya ng bawat polisiya.

Anang senador, ito ang minana niya sa Pangulo kaya niya nabuo ang konseptong Malasakit Center para mabigyan o mailapit sa Filipino ang serbisyong medikal, lalo sa mahihirap.

“For one, it has exposed me to the stressful and demanding process Filipinos go through just to get government assistance for medical bills. Residents from neighboring provinces used to come to the Davao City Hall for medical assistance. The Commission on Audit, however, informed us that Davao City funds could not be used to assist residents from neighboring provinces,” gunita ni Go.

“But the President, who was the Davao City mayor at the time, could not bear to turn away fellow Filipinos seeking assistance in our province. These interactions inspired me to envision the one-stop shop for all medical-related assistance for our fellow Filipinos,” dagdag niya.

Sa kasalukuyan ay may 141 Malasakit Centers na sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa buhat nang ito ay masimulan noong February 2018, ang huli ay binuksan nitong September 16 sa West Visayas State University Medical Center sa Iloilo City.

Tinyak ni Go na tuloy-tuloy si Pangulong Duterte sa pagsisikap na maisakatuparan ang kanyang mga plano na magbebenepisyo sa Filipino hanggang sa matapos ang kanyang termino.

Kaya naman hinimok niya ang taongbayan na makiisa na maipagpatuloy ang mga positibong pagbabago na nasimulan ng Duterte administration.

“Programs and projects such as infrastructure development in the country through the “Build, Build, Build” program, law enforcement decreasing crime rate, achieving long-lasting peace and development in the countryside, and improving our health systems are just some of the achievements that our next leaders must sustain,” idiniin ni Go.
