PH sasabak sa ASEAN Para Games

ANG Pilipinas ay magpapadala ng 172 differently-abled athletes at 45 coaches sa 12th ASEAN Para Games na nakatakda sa Hunyo 3 -9 sa Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Nag host ang Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) ng send-off party para sa team Philippines Martes, sa Philippine International Convention Center Tent na pinamunuan ng officials Philippine Paralympic Committee President Mike Barredo at PSC Commissioners Fritz Gaston at Walter Torres.

“His Excellency President Bongbong Marcos Jr was certain in his words to the Philippine Sports Commission of providing utmost support to Philippine sports which includes you, our para athletes,” Wika ni PSC Chairman Richard Bachman sa kanyang speech na binasa ni Gaston.

“With the all-out support from the national government, I am positive that you will give your all for flag and country. Together, let us proclaim that in sports, there are no walls impossible to climb,” Dagdag ni Bachman.

Sa pangunguna nina Paralympian Ernie Gawilan at Jerrold Mangliwan, ang PH team ay nakakulekta ng 28 gold,30 silver at 40 bronze medals at nagtapos fifth overall sa 2022 edition na ginanap sa Indonesia.
