Boxer Nesthy Petecio na promot matapos ang Olympic bronze

NA promote ang two-time Olympic medalist Nesthy Petecio ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) bilang gantimpala sa kanyang bronze medal sa paris Olympics.

Sa ginanap na ceremony sa PSG headquarters Lunes, ang women’s boxer ay na promote mula sa Petty Officer 2nd class to Petty officer First Class.

“This promotion is a recognition, not only of your Olympic triumph, but also of your unwavering dedication, discipline, and excellence as a Coast Guardian. You are an inspirational to us all, embodying the values of integrity, patriotism, and professionalism – both in the service and on the world stage,” Wika ni PCG Commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan patungkol sa Olympic boxer.

“The Philippine Coast Guard is proud to call you our own. May you serve with distinction and bring pride to our service and nation,” dagdag nya.

Reposted ni Petecio ang statement ng PCG Martes, at sinabi na naramdaman nya na “ blessed” sa kanyang promotion.

Naging miyembro siya ng PCG simula 2021,kasunod ang silver medal sa Tokyo Olympics.
