Reigning MVP Allen Bryant Liwag nagdagdag ng 12 points at 10 rebounds para sa CSB,na natalo sa Mapua sa finals nakaraang season.

Marc Cyrus Cuenco umiskor ng 14 points at seven rebounds habang si Earl Jaeron Sapasap nagdagdag ng 13 points para sa Cardinals.

Dahil sa 4-5 win-loss slate, Mapua ay nanateli sa No. 2 spot sa Group A sa likuran ng Perpetual Help (8-1)
