I’ll Play George Tauffer in Vince M. Tanada’s Bayani Love

I gave a copy of my Vince M. Tanada’s “Bayani Love” script (thinking I would be a part of the ensemble, as part of “taong bayan”) to a fellow film and theater workshop participant since at that time there was lack of hard copies.

Then I was called to play the role of George Tauffer, an American engineer who arrived from Hongkong with her adopted daughter Josephine Bracken. Tauffer was getting blind and he was seeking the help of our national hero.

Josephine Bracken, Dr. Jose P. Rizal’s last girlfriend before he was executed, will be played by GMA7’s singer Reign Marpuri.

So, after playing a traditional Muslim father, Abdul, to a teenage Muslim son Kashmir, played by Charles Denmark A. Pantalita, in SA AZOTEA in Vince M. Tanada’s “SA” Series, I would be enacting a brief role as George Tauffer.
