The short film “Violet” has been officially selected for the International Tagore Film Awards 2026 in Kolkata, India.
This international recognition is a meaningful milestone for everyone who believes in the power of Violet and its advocacy.
“We are grateful that our story continues to reach audiences beyond borders, sparking conversations on issues that matter and giving voices to those stories that are deserved to be heard,” says Violet director-writer PX Ilano.

The film Violet stars Elia Ilano, Ataska, Kian Co, Randy T. Dela Cruz, Malou Naredo Canzana and Jj Cillo. It is written and directed by Paulo Xavier Ilano. Its editor and director of photography is Nelson Villamayor. It is produced by the international non-profit organizations Wereldwijd voor Kinderen, State of Youth (Manila), and KidsRights Foundation which is an accredited NGO with the United Nations under UN Economic and Social Council.
“VIOLET” is an official grantee of International Children’s Peace Prize 2026 Project Theme Fund with this year’s theme, “Peace and Education”.
