Sandiganbayan ibinasura hirit ni Jinggoy idismis ang P200M graft case…HINDI SAFE!

DINISMIS ng Sandiganbayan ang hirit ni Senador “Jinggoy” Estrada na ibasura ang P200 million graft case na nag-ugat sa Janet Napoles pork barrel scheme, dahil sa “strong evidence of guilt”.

Sa resolution na pirmado ni Chairperson Zaldy Trespeses at nina Associate Justices Maryann Corpus-Manalac at Maria Theresa Mendoza-Arcega, ‘di inayunan ng anti-graft court’s Special Fifth Division ang kahilingan ni Estrada na ibasura ang mga reklamo.

Ipinuntong ang mga prosecutor ay nagprisinta ng mga sapat na ebidensiya para mapanatili ang ‘prima facie’ case sa P200 million Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam.

“Indeed, to the court’s mind, the frequency and recurrence of his above actions, along with the totality of the evidence adduced by the prosecution and extant in the record, undoubtedly establishes a prima facie case to sustain a verdict of guilt against him at this point of the trial,” diin ng Sandiganbayan.

“The prosecution stresses that accused Estrada frequently requested that his PDAF allocation be released to the IAs (implementing agencies) involved in these cases. Once the IAs received his PDAF, accused Estrada likewise endorsed, again and again, the NGOs of accused Napoles to the IAs, which in turn promptly released his PDAF to the said NGOs, based solely on the said endorsements,” dagdag pa nito.

Si Estrada ay nakalalaya nang payagang magpiyansa ng isang milyong piso noong 2017.

Sa kasalukuyan, si Estrada ay inaakusahan uli na tumanggap ng hanggang “30 percent kickback” sa ibinabang flood control project sa Bulacan.
