With the return of director Darryl Yap, audiences will see once again the character who made them laugh and smile.
Aside from Tasha, the emotionless superwoman, the top-streamed film Ang Babaeng Walang Pakiramdam also introduced audiences to Ngongo – the funny man, and the dependable, always reliable partner of Tasha. But Ngongo didn’t just bring laughs in the movie – his “Mork and Mean” scene went viral online, reaching over 125 million views.
This June, find out what Ngongo’s life was like before he crossed paths with Tasha!
Ngongo is a hardworking and resourceful young man who helps out at his Mother Queen’s burger stand. Though his condition sets him apart, he is deeply loved by friends who share the same experience.
He spends his free time volunteering at The Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation, an organization that supports individuals with cleft conditions, similar to his own. It’s here that he meets Scarlet, his first love. Ngongo asks Scarlet a permission to court her and she agrees. But it will never be easy for Ngongo, as her family strongly disapproves of his condition and status. Ngongo begins to pity and hate his condition again.
In his pursuit of the woman of his dreams, Ngongo forgets that he also has family and friends who love him deeply and without hesitation.
Join Ngongo on his journey of love – for true love, friendship, family, and most importantly, self-love.
Directed by Darryl Yap, Jerald Napoles is joined by well-known influencers Malupiton and Jack Argota, who add more humor and fun for the audience.
