October last year, nang isiwalat ni Manila 4th District Councilor Eunice Castro ang kanyang painful experience of sexual harrasment from a fellow Councilor.

Councilor Castro and Atty Maggie filed charges for violations of RA 11313, or the Safe Spaces Act, as well as acts of lasciviousness againts Councilor Ryan Ponce. At December 16 2025 Eunice Castro and Atty. Maggie filed the criminal case for violation of safe spaces act and acts of lasciviousness laban nga rito kay Ponce. Samantala sa ilang buwang pakikipaglaban sa korte. Ayon pa kay Atty. Maggie, ay may resolution na ang OCP o Office of the City Prosecutor Manila sa kaso ng kanyang konsehalang kliyente. Panalo si Eunice Castro as per the resolution of OCP of Manila. At dagdag pahayag pa ni Atty. Garduque,

“Indicting/filing 3 counts for violation of safe spaces acts againts Councilor Ryan Ponce.” At mamaya may presscon si Konsehala Castro. At i-uupdate nila ni Atty. Maggie ang nangyari sa kaso at ang mga susunod nilang hakbang laban sa nambastos at nangmanyak nga kay Eunice na si Ponce.
