SENATOR ERWIN TULFO, MALUGOD NA TINANGGAP SI US ENVOY LEE LIPTON

Malugod na tinanggap ni Senator Erwin Tulfo si United States Ambassador to the Philippines Lee Lipton.

Sa kanilang pagkikita nitong September 30, pinasalamatan ni Tulfo -Chairman of Senate Committees on Social Justice, Welfare and Rural Development at Energy, habang nagsisilbi bilang Blue Ribbon Vice Chair- ang ambassador para sa patuloy na suporta ng kanyang bansa sa mga Pilipino lalo na sa panahon ng mga kalamidad at disasters.

Ani Tulfo, “discussions were made on exploring more investments especially on renewable energy and creation of employment opportunities in the Philippines.”

Sa kanyang concurrent capacity bilang Chairman of Senate Foreign Relations Panel, tinalakay din ni Tulfo ang ‘exploration of potential US investments’ sa Pilipinas.

“Sustained cooperation between the two countries to strengthen economic ties and encourage investments that would benefit local communities is also significant,” dagdag pa ni Tulfo. (JERRY S. TAN)
