Erika Santos lumagda Cignal

MATAPOS ang apat na seasons sa PLDT, sisimulan ni opposite spiker Erika Santos ang kanyang bagong kabanata sa buhay matapos opisyal na lumagda sa Cignal HD Spikers bago ang parating na Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season.

Ang 24-year-old dating De La Salle University standout ang pang apat na free agent na kinuha ng Cignal, kasama sa hanay nina Tin Tiamzon, Heather Guino-o, at Ethan Arce.

“Very thankful and grateful I am now for Coach Shaq (Delos Santos) and all of the Cignal HD Spikers management. I hope I can bring that I showed this past season here and I’m also looking to improve more under our coaches and trainers here,” Wika nya nitong Sabado.

“Even though it’s still a red uniform, it’s a new chapter in my career now so I’m looking forward to it and helping this team reach the heights they really want, which is the PVL championship.”

Ang Cignal ay pangungunahan nina Alas Pilipinas stars Dawn Catindig, Vanie Gandler, at rising star Ishie Lalongisip.

Santos, na naging pro noong 2022, naglaro sa PLDT ng apat na seasons. Siya ay ranked 17th overall sa scoring sa 2024-2025 All-Filipino Conference na may 161 points.

Pang-anim rin si Santos sa ilang opposite spikers sa total points at ranked sixth sa spiking effeciency na may 32.84 percent succes rate.
