‘Impeachment case vs VP Sara ire-refile sa 20th Congress’

IBINUNYAG ni incoming Senator Erwin Tulfo na ilang mambabatas ang may planong muling ihain sa 20th Congress ang impeachment complaint laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.

“I think that the House will really refile it. That’s what I heard from my colleagues. They’ll refile it with 20th Congress,” tugon ni Tulfo sa panayam ng Senate media makaraang dumalo sa pictorial at orientation sa Senado kahapon.

Hindi naman masabi ni Tulfo kung papaano ito gagawin ng mga kongresista at siya mismo ay hindi rin niya maintindihan ang paraan sa muling paghahain nito.

“That’s what I heard. ‘Yung before all this, before sabi nila, pag ibinalik, they will refile it. I don’t know how they will do it in mechanics, hindi ko maitindihan eh. ‘Yan ang let’s wait and see. And then we’ll see where do we go after that. I know that there’s a ban, one-year ban. Iniisip ko, ano kaya ‘yun?” pagbabahagi ni Tulfo.

Kaugnay nito, pabor si Tulfo na ituloy ang impeachment trial kay VP Sara.

Wala umano siyang nakikitang rason upang hindi ituloy ang impeachment na siyang maglalabas umano ng katotohanan.

“Kung ako tatanungin n’yo personally, why not?” pahayag niya.

Dagdag ni Tulfo, “Kung the VP is not guilty, then so be it. Let’s dismiss the case, ‘di ba? Bakit natin pipilitin kung hindi siya guilty ‘di ba? Mayroon siyang mga evidence, statements, na will say so na she’s innocent, she’s not guilty. Pero kung the evidence will really, ‘ika nga ididiin siya doon, then we don’t have a choice.” (Mylene Alfonso)
