Introducing Carl Rasco

I found out that Carl Angelo Rasco is a very good actor and director. He is a product of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (Class of 2022) where I used to teach Mass Communications subjects.

He has been a resident theatre actor for Tanghalang Santa Ana since 2018 and an actor for the Philippine Stagers Foundation since 2022. He was nominated for a PSF Thumbs Up Award for Best Featured Actor. His work as a director has also been praised for guiding workshop students to acting awards.

He was my director in Vince Tanada’s “SA AZOTEA” in the “SA” series staged recently in PSF (Philippine Stagers Foundation) Blackbox Theatre in Sampaloc, Manila.

And I really admired his acting and directing capabilities that helped me win the Best Supporting Actor during the first week’s recital of the PSF Theatre and Film Summer Workshop with three prominent judges: Anton Juan, JP Lopez and Paul Jake Paule.
