INILUKLOK ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang dating dating budget undersecretary na si Kim Robert de Leon bilang bagong kalihim ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
Kinumpirma ni Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Usec. Claire Castro ang appointment ni De Leon nitong Lunes, Mayo 18.
Ayon sa Malacañang, manunumpa sa puwesto si De Leon ngayong Martes, Mayo 19.
Si De Leon, 32-anyos, ay dating assistant professor sa University of the Philippines at naging topnotcher sa 2016 Environmental Planning Licensure Exam.
Nagsilbi rin siyang undersecretary ng DBM mula 2021 hanggang 2022 bago lumipat sa Department of Transportation (DOTr) bilang undersecretary mula 2022 hanggang 2024.
Bukod dito, naging direktor at presidential staff officer din si De Leon sa Office of the President (OP).
