1 7 akusado sa ‘missing sabungeros’ timbog

NAARESTO na ang 17 kapwa akusado ni Atong Ang sa kaso ng mga nawawalang sabungero nitong Miyerkoles, Enero 14, ayon sa Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).

Ayon sa CIDG, may ka-buuang 18 akusado sa dalawang warrant of arrest mula sa Laguna court kaugnay ng limang bilang ng ‘kidnapping with homicide’ at anim na bilang ng ‘kidnapping with serious illegal detention’. Kabilang dito ang sampung pulis, isang dating pulis, at walong sibilyan.

“We have in our custody nine police officers and six civilians, mga dating security ni Atong Ang dati, co-accused,” ani CIDG Director Major Geneneral Roberto Morico II.

“The operation is on going, we’re going to account all. We will do our best to perform the marching order coming from the Chief PNP,” dagdag pa niya.

Samantala, isinisibli narin ng mga tauhan ng CIDG ang warrant of arrest laban kay Ang sa ilan nitong ari-arian sa Metro Manila at Region 4-B. Hinimok din ni Morico si Ang na sumuko.

“I ask Mr. Atong Ang to peacefully surrender… there is already a warrant of arrest naman and he has participated peacefully doon sa conduct of the investigation ng Department of Justice,” diin ni Maj. Gen. Morico.
